Clay Stites has completed over 70 successful head searches, working with schools on both coasts. He has done extensive work with elementary schools but has also done searches, retreats, and long-range plans for PK – 12 schools and boarding schools. Clay has a strong background in the arts and founded Rabbit Ears Productions, a children’s video production company that won two Grammy Awards and a host of other honors for children’s programming. He has an MFA from the Tisch School of Arts at NYU and taught at the Rhode Island School of Design. Clay has served as a board member of 3 independent schools and the New Bedford Whaling Museum. He is the former chair of the NAIS Elementary and Middle Schools Committee. Clay was Head of Friends Academy (MA) for fifteen years and of the Curtis School (CA) for five. |
