Edes P. Gilbert is the former Head of Mary Institute (M0) and The Spence School (NY) and served as Acting President of Independent Educational Services (IES). She is the Past President of The Country Day School Headmasters Association, The National Association of Principals of Schools for Girls, and the Headmasters Association. She was a 13-year member of the Board of TIAA-CREF, served for three years as President of the Board at Lesley University (MA), and was President of the New York State Association of Independent Schools.
